Academic Overview
Program Overview
The Master of Physiotherapy (M.PT) is a postgraduate program for physiotherapists who want to specialise in a clinical field and build capability in research, teaching and leadership. The NCAHP curriculum recommends a well-structured postgraduate program of at least two years in a specialised field of physiotherapy, with postgraduate students expected to contribute significantly to research and academics. An MPT is also the qualification required for academic and many senior clinical posts.
